This Sunday, we conclude our summer sermon series on spiritual practices by thinking about labor - getting our hands dirty. How does labor help to open us up to God?
We'll also share in communion and dedicate our baby kits. |
Baby Kits
This is the final week of our summer mission project of collecting items for UMCOR (United Methodist Commission on Relief) baby kits. So bring to worship the sweaters you've been knitting, the diapers, nightgowns and receiving blankets you've been collecting as well as your quarters (for postage).
We've already surpassed our goal of 30 kits. Will we reach our stretch goal of 50?? |

Charge Conference: September 15, 7:30-8:30
"Charge Conference" is our annual Church Hill meeting with our district superintendent, Martin McLee. We review the year just passed and look ahead to ministry and mission in the year ahead.
Please join us on September 15 in the sanctuary to share with Martin your thoughts on what it means to be a part of the Church Hill family. |
Prayers
Please pray for Carolyn Hathorne, who is at South Shore Hospital with pneumonia. She is on the mend, and hopes to be home soon. For now, though, visitors are limited to her family.
